Pattern mixing is in full force, and I have to say, this is one of my favorite outfits I’ve put together in 2022 so far! Somehow this felt like the perfect mix of all the purples, pinks, and reds, and I just can’t get enough.

I was so excited to shoot photos with my good friend Lindsey as I always leave our time together so inspired! I love that she pushes me to try new poses and different angles, and it definitely helps boost my creativity.

I’ve been having a major itch for thrifting recently, and the most exciting part is always coming across unique pieces that you won’t find anywhere else! I picked up this amazing vintage 80s coat from Super Thrift in La Habra, and I loved that even within the coat itself, there was some fun pattern mixing going on.

I have also been on a hunt for some red western boots, and I finally found the perfect pair! I loved using them to add a pop of color to the outfit (and it matched perfectly with my signature red lipstick).

This vintage Chanel camera bag was a great way to tie the entire look together, while letting the outfit itself shine. The gold hardware complements the colors of the outfit so nicely.

Pattern mixing is such a fun way to breathe new life to pieces you already have in your closet! It helps keeps things interesting and challenges me to find fresh takes on how I can style a piece I’ve had in my collection for years. I also like how it visually adds interest to an outfit, and sometimes gets people to think, “Wow, I never would’ve thought that could work together!” I think the key is to coordinate your colors and play with varying sizes of patterns to make the mish mash all work together.

I hope this post inspired you to try your hand at pattern mixing! What part of the outfit was your favorite? I’d love to know in the comments below!
