Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at La Mirada Theatre

Kev and I were so honored to be invited to Pride Night at La Mirada Theatre and McCoy Rigby Entertainment’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! I haven’t seen this show in years and I loved how this production really made it their own - it was so fun and engaging!

When we arrived, there was a step-and-repeat and a colorful rainbow coat just like Joseph’s that guests could wear and take photos with before and after the show.

The La Mirada Theatre is located at 14900 La Mirada Blvd, La Mirada, CA 90638. Parking is free at the La Mirada Theatre lot (best availability is in front of Albertsons or Wells Fargo). I recommend getting to the theatre at least 30-45 minutes before showtime (and you can also enjoy their special drinks menu inspired by the show in their cozy lobby)!

If you’ve never heard of this show before, it is a reimagining of the Biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob, eleven brothers, and his coat of many colors. The entire cast is so talented and we enjoyed this unique take on the show.

The performance length is 1 hour and 45 min, including one 15 min intermission. Ticket prices start at $14, and the show is playing Thursdays through Sundays now until 6/25. (You can get tickets here.) As an added bonus, use code JOSEPHIG to save $10 on tickets!

After the show, we were treated to a special meet and greet with the cast where we got to interview and take photos with them on the stage! They also performed a snippet of “Go, Go, Go Joseph” just for us.

It was so lovely to meet Peter Allen Vogt, Kelli Rabke, Chris McCarrell, Ellie Barrett, and Kurt Kemper! They were all so kind and it was great getting to interview them for my social media platforms.
