Please tell me I’m not the only one who was completely captivated by Taylor Swift’s 10-minute version of “All Too Well.” It’s the ultimate fall song, and somehow the song always brings me to my past heartbreak, from a boy who was definitely not worth my tears or time. This post doesn’t have much to do with “All Too Well,” but it’s been on repeat for the last week, and I was inspired to pull together my best autumnal outfit to channel Taylor Swift vibes.

Plaid and burgundy scream fall to me, and I wish that California experienced a true change in seasons because I hate to say it, but most of the trees here haven’t changed color yet. It’s also still quite hot for late November, and it makes me sad because this is my favorite season for fashion - I love layering but I can’t handle it right now with the heat!

My sweet friend Ann dressed up with me and it’s always a fun time getting to see and catch up with her. She is one of my biggest style inspirations and I love every single look she puts together! She is also a total sweetheart and I am so grateful to have her in my life.

For my outfit, I kept the look monochromatic, starting with this one shoulder top and tucking it into a faux leather skirt in the same color family. For those chillier days, I wore this stunning plaid coat which helped give some dimension and texture to the look. I kept the accessories simple, wearing a black cabbie hat and mock croc ankle boots, but to add a dash of sparkle, I paired it with these adorable ornament dangle earrings for a festive touch.

Huge thanks to Torrid for sponsoring this post and gifting me a majority of the items from their new winter collection for this look! Be sure to shop the collection over at torrid.com!

And if you’re a Swiftie, I’d love to know what your favorite song off of Red (Taylor’s Version) is in the comments below!
