I’ll admit I usually try to avoid Hollywood Blvd. at all costs, but sometimes, it’s fun to play tourist in my own city, especially where wax museums are all the rage! I stopped by Madame Tussauds a couple of weeks ago, and they’re not kidding when they say they’re the World’s Greatest Wax Museum. If you’ve wanted to get up close and personal with some of your favorite celebrities, this is the place to be!

Madame Tussauds Hollywood is located at 6933 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028, right next door to the iconic Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. They are open every day from 11am-6pm Mondays through Wednesdays, and 11am-8pm Thursdays through Sundays. General admission is $29.99 and tickets can be purchased online here.

Now that we’ve gotten the general important information out of the way, let’s get into our visit! The Hollywood location has over 125 celebrity wax figures, and there are a few different themed rooms that make the experience feel immersive and dynamic.

We started off in the A-List Party room, where we took photos with celebrities like Demi Lovato, Jason Derulo, Ariana Grande, and Ryan Reynolds just to name a few. This room felt like we were at a Hollywood hotspot, like the Oscars after party!

Be sure to stop by the Jimmy Kimmel Experience (fun fact: the actual Jimmy Kimmel Live! studio is located across the street from Madame Tussauds!) where you will be greeted by Jimmy Kimmel himself and you’ll be able to film your very own interview and be the guest star of the show!

A few of the other celebrities we saw in the A-List Party room included Simon Cowell, Conan O’Brien, Elton John, Meryl Streep, and Jimmy Fallon.

Then, we had Jim Carrey leading the way to the next room: Spirit of Hollywood.

This room paid homage to old Hollywood classics and the Golden Age of Cinema. It included celebrities such as Charlie Chaplin, Marlene Dietrich, Judy Garland, Audrey Hepburn, and Marilyn Monroe. Some of the photo ops also have props and costumes you can use for your photos which is an extra nice touch to the experience!

Next up, we had the Illusions of Horror room which was both fun and creepy at the same time. We snapped photos with Dracula, the Mummy, Frankenstein, the balloons from It, and Sir Anthony Hopkins in Hannibal.

We then checked out the Making Movies room which was fun because we got to see a lot of celebrities in their iconic character roles, like Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump, Sylvester Stallone as Rocky, Johnny Depp as Edward Scissorhands, Uma Thurman as Beatrix Kiddo from Kill Bill, and I got to pretend I was in E.T. (seriously, how cool is this photo op?)!

We then went through the Pop Icons room where we snapped pictures with Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga.

Then came my favorite room of the entire museum - The 90s Are Here room! I don’t care what anyone says, growing up in the 90s was the best era for pop culture. We visited Madame Tussauds a few years ago, and this was a new update from last time and I absolutely loved it! I got a picture in what would’ve been my dream childhood bedroom and got some photos with Britney Spears, Selena, and Snoop Dogg.

On our way out, we passed by the Marvel room where we got photos with Spider-Man and Tony Stark. For an extra $5 per person, you can also add on the Marvel Universe 4D Experience. I highly recommend checking this out if you’re a huge Marvel fan or are bringing kiddos with you while you visit.

And there you have it - there are so many more celebrities I didn’t include in this post but that you’ll have to stop by and see for yourself!

Huge thank you again to Madame Tussauds for hosting us for the day! Which celebrity would you want to grab a picture with? Let me know in the comments below!
