Dress: Goodwill | Bag: Chanel | Shoes: Teva | Earrings: ModCloth
We just got back from a whirlwind weekend in Maui, and it was so nice to have a few days just to relax and take it easy. As I alluded to a few posts back, some big changes are happening in my personal life that we spent the last couple of weeks scrambling. Normally I like to go shopping before a trip (even if it’s just to my local thrift store), but with how fast this vacation crept up on us, I decided to restyle pieces I already had in my closet.
I wasn’t too sure if it’d be hot or cold in Maui, but quickly found out that the weather is similar to our year round 70+ degrees in Southern California. I thrifted this fun vintage dress from Goodwill a couple of months ago, and I love how vibrant and funky the colors and pattern are. I wanted to pack light, so I only brought one bag - my Chanel Classic Flap in size medium.
To keep things stylish and comfortable, I paired this dress with my platform Teva sandals and my tiny rainbow beaded hoop earrings from ModCloth I was gifted last year. One of my favorite ways to accessorize an outfit while in Hawaii is with a flower hair clip which I got from a street vendor in Oahu a few months back.
This trip was certainly different from the rest as I only wore one outfit a day (shocking, I know)! I’m so used to bringing multiple outfits per day to shoot content and make the most of our new surroundings, but I have to say, it was really nice not to worry about any of that.
More outfits to come soon, but in the meantime, what do you want to know about Maui?
xo,
Keshia
