It was so lovely meeting Jessica Biel at the launch event for her new book, “A Kids Book About Periods”!

I read it while waiting in line, and love how she broke it down in such an easy way to understand for curious kiddos!

Jessica was so kind, and I even got to tell her thank you for creating Cruel Summer which is one of my favorite shows ever!

Huge thank you to Annabelle’s Book Club for hosting (we love an AAPI owned independent bookstore!) and for treating all of us to a scoop of ice cream at Salt and Straw after the event!
