Five Tips to Make the Most Out of Your Oogie Boogie Bash Experience

Now that the strikes are over, I’m excited to share this year’s Halloween costume reveal and throwback to when Kev and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary at Oogie Boogie Bash in September! I loved dressing up as Lola from “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen” (only one person got the reference but it made my entire night!)

While the Halloween season is officially over, bookmark this post for my five best tips to make the most out of your time at Oogie Boogie Bash next year.

Character Meet & Greets
If characters are your thing, I definitely recommend starting with the Sanderson Sisters line! We got to Hollywood Land at 4:30pm and a line had already formed. I believe this was the longest character line of the party so I’m glad we got this out of the way in the beginning! Most of the other character lines moved quickly and efficiently, which I really appreciated.

Villains Treat Trails
To help set expectations, most of the treat trails do not allow you to stop for photos with the villains and they tend to be stationed a little further away. Kev and I would snap photos as quickly as we could when we passed by the characters, but lighting was also not that great.

BYOB - Bring Your Own Bag
Bring a big tote bag for the treat trails! While you do get a small bag for treats when you check in for the party, it is definitely not big enough to hold all the snacks you’re going to get from the treat trails!

This is the Best Time to Go on Your Favorite Attractions
Wait times for many attractions were pretty low so take advantage of it while you’re there! I think the longest we had to wait was 15 minutes.

Frightfully Fun Parade
Don’t miss the Frightfully Fun Parade which happens at 7:50pm and 10:05pm! The parade route starts at Paradise Gardens, passes Little Mermaid and Carthay Circle, and ends in Hollywood Land, so there’s a ton of great spots throughout the park to catch the show!

Huge thank you Disney Style for hosting us at Oogie Boogie Bash this year! We had so much fun!
