Happy Halfway to Halloween! Can you believe how fast this year is flying by?! The Disney Parks team invited me to celebrate the festivities with them a bit early at the Disneyland Resort last weekend and needless to say, I was ghoulishly delighted to be back!

After spending the entire day at Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland, we checked in for the event at midnight and were escorted to the Haunted Mansion. It’s so rare that we stay at the parks this late, so it was cool getting to see an empty Main Street USA and Sleeping Beauty Castle.

As soon as we arrived, we saw our swag bags which were filled with our very own Madame Leota to take home at the end of the event! Haunted Mansion is my favorite Disney attraction so I was very excited to get one of these as a souvenir.

We kicked off the event by saying hi to Sally Slater who absolutely loved that she was immortalized on my shirt. She’s my favorite from the stretching portraits so it was fun getting to see her in person.

How awesome was my friend Chris’ Alexander Nitrokoff outfit?! I think we need to start a petition to get him his own meet and greet at the parks.

For refreshments, we had some hot chocolate and iced water, and for snacks, the Mummy Mickey macaron made a special appearance!

Of course I had to grab a couple of photos with Chris since he had the best outfit of the evening. Look at those calves!

Because we had Haunted Mansion all to ourselves, we went to town with getting all the photos.

This was my favorite photo spot of the evening since it is so difficult to get an empty photo here on a normal day. Has anyone ever noticed the floor is designed to look like a spider web?

Is this haunted room actually stretching? Or is it your imagination, hm?

Then it was time to squeeze in a tour in our doom buggy! I’m so glad we got to end our day at the Haunted Mansion, but not going to lie, it was a little eerie being there so late at night and when it was so empty!

I got to meet Nava Rose at the event and she was the absolute sweetest! I’m a huge fan of hers on TikTok so it was surreal getting to say hi and meet her in person.

I’m so glad in-person events are starting to come back! My favorite part is always getting to see my sweet friends. I loved getting to catch up with Aimee, Mikey, Chris, and Yesenia.

Thank you so much to Disney Parks for inviting us to the event! Be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog to stay up to date on all the exciting announcements and fun events planned for the Halloween season this year!
