Carlsbad Flower Fields

It’s ranunculus that spring has finally sprung! Bad puns aside, the Carlsbad Flower Fields are back again this year with a fresh new bloom, and time is running out for you to check it out before the season is done!

But before we get into the details of the Flower Fields, let’s talk about my outfit! I got this fun retro tiered style maxi dress from Unique Vintage (I definitely wanted to wear something that would pop against all the colorful flowers) and paired it with my chunky platform sandals I got from ModCloth a few years ago. To add a bit of personal flair, I accessorized with my favorite gold hoops that I wear with literally almost every outfit!

At the time of my visit, the first blooms just started popping up, but now the days of peak bloom are finally here! The Flower Fields are open every day from 9am-6pm now through May 8, and tickets must be purchased in advance online here. There are so many things to do and see in addition to the beautiful photo ops with the field, including Tractor Wagon Rides, Butterfly Garden, and Sweet Pea Maze. You could truly spend the whole day there!
