Calvin Berger Musical at The Colony Theatre

Disclosure: The Colony Theatre provided us with two complimentary tickets to Calvin Berger. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Sometimes what you’re looking for… is right under your nose! We had such a fun time at opening weekend of Calvin Berger at The Colony Theatre! This show is loosely based on the story of Cyrano De Bergerac and is an endearing, feel good musical that reminds us through some twists and turns of unrequited high school love that we’re all enough just the way we are.

It was our first time at The Colony Theatre (555 N Third St, Burbank, CA 91502) and I loved how intimate the theatre was. Also, there is plenty of free parking (the theatre shares the structure with the Burbank Town Center Mall) which is always a plus in my book!

Tickets for Calvin Berger are $55 (plus a $4 fee) and the show is playing Thursdays through Sundays now through 3/26. The run time is about two hours including a 15 min intermission in between acts. We were lucky to be sitting in the front row, but truly every seat in the theatre is a good one!

Frankie Rodriguez, Jordan Quisno, Jasmine Sharma, and Corinne Miller were absolutely phenomenal in each of their roles, and the songs in this show are so fun! If you’re a fan of the music in Dear Evan Hansen, I think you’ll really enjoy this show!

It was so great to see our friend Patrick who was there that day too!

We absolutely loved getting to meet Frankie Rodriguez after the show - he is such a sweetheart! I’m a huge fan of his in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and he was so gracious with his time.

Huge thank you again to The Colony Theatre for having us! Be sure to grab your tickets at colonytheatre.org!
