You, you, you oughta know that Jagged Little Pill: The Musical is in LA!

This was my first time seeing the show, and all I can say is, THIS is the reason I love theatre. You live, you love, you cry, you learn.

This show contains sensitive themes (TW: drug use, sexual assault), but it is ultimately about healing and self-acceptance, and the vulnerability of it all really touched my heart and soul. Add Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill album for the soundtrack, and the way the songs tie into the story was absolutely perfect.

Can we also hear a little commotion for this amazing cast?! The high energy performances from every single cast member truly blew me away. They each gave 150% and I cannot sing their praises enough! My favorite part no doubt was Jade McLeod (who plays Jo) bringing the house down with their rendition of “You Oughta Know” - I want to see this show over and over again because it was THAT good!

It was a pleasure getting to meet Jade McLeod, Dillon Klena (who plays Nick), and Rishi Golani (who plays Phoenix) who were so gracious and kind after the show!

I also got to meet up with my friend Melissa who is quickly becoming one of my favorite people! I’m so glad we get to share our love of theatre together.

This was the perfect start to kick off the Broadway in Hollywood 2022-2023 season and I’m so excited to see everything else that’s in store! Please do yourself a favor and go see Jagged Little Pill: The Musical (you can grab tickets here) at the Pantages Theatre now through 10/2!
