I love Amazon Prime Video’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, so when I heard there was going to be a free themed pop-up event happening in LA, we cleared the calendar and made a trip to the city. This was an FYC event in celebration of season 4, and while it’s a rare one that was open to the public, I have to say, it’s one of the best ones I’ve been to!

This was a fully immersive experience, where even the workers were dressed appropriately so you immediately felt like you stepped back in time to the 60s. We were first greeted by the mailman who handed us “Greetings from New York” postcards that we used to collect stamps at each “stop” of our visit.

We arrived about 20 minutes before the event started at noon, and by 12:15 we were inside. Since we were one of the first people there, we were given swag bags with these adorable rainbow colored Tupperware containers and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel logo balloons.

I have to say, as soon as I saw Russ & Daughters was going to be there, that was enough for me to make the trip. This is my favorite bagel spot in NYC so it was such a treat to have them in LA, even if it was just for a couple of days!

As always, the lox bagel was heavenly. It was also cool to see Niki Russ Federman (behind me) at the event, who is the fourth generation co-owner of Russ & Daughters!

Next up was a quick stop at Susie Myerson and Associates. I think I could be Susie’s next secretary, what do you think?

We had to of course grab a photo with the iconic logo neon sign!

We grabbed some non-alcoholic libations - I tried “The Button” and Kev tried “The Blue Note,” both named after their respective hot spot locations in NYC. They were both delicious!

To help set the mood, Svetlana and her band were there entertaining the crowd with some live jazz music.

Behind the jazz club, you could play a game of mahjong while enjoying some themed chocolates! We didn’t stay long enough to play, but Kev had to get a photo with the big stacks of money.

Last but not least was a stop at Coney Island! How cute was this Polaroid photo op on the “ferris wheel”?!

Thanks so much to The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel for putting together such a fun event!

What are your thoughts on season 4 of the show? I’d love to know in the comments below!
