Five Things You Don't Want to Miss at Super Nintendo World! | Universal Studios Hollywood

It’s-a me, Mario! We were lucky to experience Super Nintendo World before previews officially start this weekend thanks to the kind strangers who gave us their extra wristbands so we could experience the land too! We loved how interactive and immersive the land is and already can’t wait to be back!

Here are five things you’re not going to want to miss at Super Nintendo World!

1. Leave no stone unturned. There are so many fun games and Easter eggs hidden in every nook and cranny of the land! Don’t be afraid to play and explore while you’re there.

2. The Power-Up Bands are a must buy! Grab a Power-Up Band at the kiosks in the land or at the 1Up Factory store! They are $40 per band and do not come with a passholder discount, but they allow you to fully experience every part of the land. You can also connect it to your Universal Studios app on your phone and use it to play games, complete challenges, and more.

3. Say hello to your favorite Super Nintendo friends! Meet Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach at various times throughout the day. I recommend getting in line 10-15 minutes before their greeting time to secure your spot.

4. Play Mario Kart in real life! Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge is Universal Studios’ newest attraction and it’s so much fun! If you’ve ever wanted to experience Mario Kart in real life, now is your chance! Battle Team Bowser, collect digital coins, and throw shells to win the Golden Cup! There is also a single rider line available if you want to potentially cut down on your wait time.

5. Grab a quick bite at Toadstool Cafe! We didn’t get a chance to try the food this time around, but it’s going to be our first priority next time we’re there. I’m already eyeing the Toadstool Cheesy Garlic Knots, Luigi Burger, and Fire Flower Spaghetti!

Super Nintendo Land officially opens to the public at Universal Studios Hollywood on 2/17! What are you most excited to see? Let me know in the comments!
