Everything You Need to Know to Make the Most Out of Your Visit to Disneyland Paris

We’re officially part of the Six Castles Club! It’s been a long time coming, but we finally got to visit our last Disney park during our trip to Paris! I completely fell in love with the 90s vibes and the Michael Eisner era of this park, and I truly hope those touches never change. In this post, I’ll be sharing four of my best tips to make the most out of your visit to Disneyland Paris!

Character Wait Times Take a While
Character lines take a super long time (we waited almost 2 hours for Chip and Dale alone!) and I highly recommend getting in line early! I noticed that in general, not rushing others is part of European culture so be prepared to wait.

Skip the Food at the Parks and Eat at Disney Village Instead
From the bit of food we got to try inside the park, it was… not great. Save your money and skip the pastries (they tasted like cardboard lol) and instead, I recommend eating at Disney Village (this is Disneyland Paris’s version of Downtown Disney)! We personally loved Vapiano (thanks to our friend Maria for the recommendation!) but they also have McDonald’s, Earl of Sandwich, and more.

Disability Access Service (DAS)
For those who utilize the DAS at Disneyland or Walt Disney World, you can also request an Accessibility Pass for your visit to Disneyland Paris either at your DLP resort hotel (if you’re staying in one) or at Guest Relations in the parks. However, please note that the biggest difference is you will need to show a doctor’s note when requesting the pass, so make sure to prepare for that in advance!

Best Rides at Disneyland Paris
In my opinion, the best rides at Disneyland Paris are Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and Phantom Manor! While they still feel somewhat familiar, I think these are officially my favorite versions of each of these rides.

The hugest merci beaucoup to our friend Maria for taking care of us during our visit!
