Cruel Summer Season 2 Premiere

There are two sides to every secret…

I visited the LA YouTube offices and we just got a sneak peek into the first episode of Cruel Summer Season 2. I was instantly hooked after the first season came out in 2021 and I’m already obsessed with this new story (if you didn’t know, this is an anthology series)! My millennial heart loves that this season takes place during Y2K - the music, the fashion, and the nostalgia are everything.

After the screening, we were treated to a quick Q&A panel with Lexi Underwood and Sadie Stanley who play the main characters, Isabella and Megan, on the show. It was fun hearing about a day in the life on set, how they’re similar to their characters, and how they researched Y2K music, fashion, and more.

I’m so grateful we had the opportunity to meet Lexi and Sadie afterward - they were both so sweet and I can’t wait to see how the rest of the season unfolds for their characters!
