Back to Basics: Primary Colors

OUTFIT DETAILS
Jacket: Rag and Bone | Top: Forever 21 | Vest: Vintage | Jeans: Oliver Logan | Earrings: Amazon | Shoes: Vans

Today we’re throwing it back to basics with some denim on denim and primary color action. While I do enjoy elevating my outfits and finding creative ways to take them to the next level, sometimes it’s refreshing to go with a more toned-down, classic look.

I never shy away from a Canadian tuxedo opportunity, so the outfit actually started off with these amazing dark wash wide-leg jeans from Oliver Logan. As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve been obsessed with the comfortability and fit of these jeans, and they will definitely become a rotating staple throughout my wardrobe.

I’ve been waiting for the weather to cool down to wear this beautiful Mickey jacket from Rag & Bone. I love how it’s also a darker denim and coordinates well with the jeans for a cohesive look.

To add a touch of me to the outfit, I wore this red cropped long sleeve shirt I’ve had in my closet for a few years now and thought it would be interesting to layer this vintage Disney vest on top of it.

To tie in the theme of primary colors, how perfect was this yellow and blue wall?! Would you believe me if I told you it was actually a Goodyear service center? Sometimes you really stumble upon the best photo backdrops when you least expect it!
