Alli Miller-Fisher's Ice Cats | 2024 Hollywood Fringe Festival

I saw Alli Miller-Fisher’s solo show “Ice Cats” with my friend Thaddeus tonight as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival, and I only wished the show was longer because it went by way too fast! Alli is such a dynamic storyteller, and while some of what she talks about in the show may seem unbelievable, she truly can’t make this sh*t up!

About the show: Losing someone is never easy. Even when you know it’s going to happen. Losing a parent is even worse. And somehow losing your mom is beyond comprehension. The person that gave you life is no longer here to help shape your existence, or tell you that your skirt is too short or to “fix your face.” The best thing about a dead mom is that she will leave you with gifts. Little nuggets of surprise and excitement and terror as you clean out her hoarder houses. Yes she is rolling over in her urn reading this description. Here’s hoping there’s no internet in Heaven. This show isn’t about her cancer or even her death, that’s definitely in there, but it’s really about the lifelong traumatic gifts that she left Alli. Like the ability to bury frozen cats after her death. Come with Alli to the emerald city, of AC (After Cathy).

Ticket prices start at $15, and the show is playing at Three Clubs (1123 Vine St, Los Angeles, CA 90038) on 6/15 at 6:30pm, 6/21 at 8:30pm, 6/23 at 2:30pm, and 6/26 at 7:30pm. The performance length is 50 minutes with no intermission, and the show is recommended for ages 21+. Limited street parking is available close by. I recommend getting to the theatre at least 30 minutes before showtime!

Huge thank you to Alli and Chadd for inviting me to see the show!
